In Their Shoes: Bridging Hope in Lexington County
In Their Shoes is a powerful, interactive experience designed to increase awareness and empathy for the challenges faced by individuals and families living in crisis right here in Lexington County.
Through a guided, hands-on simulation, participants step into real-life scenarios based on stories we see every day - navigating limited resources, difficult decisions, and the complex systems that can create barriers to stability and self-sufficiency.
This impactful experience is ideal for workplaces, schools, churches, and community groups seeking to better understand the realities of financial hardship - and explore how we can all play a part in bridging hope.
We can bring In Their Shoes to your location or host your group at Mission
Lexington.

At Mission Lexington, we view churches as the vital link between service and faith; our Church Outreach Team exists to keep our churches tied into the shared mission of reflecting God’s love by meeting the needs of our neighbors.
If your church would like for Mission Lexington to speak to your congregants, or if your ministry team would like to meet with our outreach team and tour Mission Lexington, please email Kelli Brown at kelli@missionlexingtonsc.org
We would love the opportunity to speak to your business, organization, or group about our mission to support individuals and families in crisis.
Through our Mission Lexington presentation, we share:
-
The essential resources we provide, including food, clothing, financial assistance, and more.
-
Stories of impact and hope from the lives we’ve touched.
-
How your team can partner with us to create lasting change.
Invite us to speak and inspire your group to join us in making a meaningful impact!
