Statement of Faith
-

ABOUT US
OUR STORY
OUR TEAM
Founded in 1978 by four churches, Mission Lexington began as a way to support individuals and families facing urgent needs and limited resources.
While our core mission remains unchanged, our community’s rapid growth has driven the expansion of our facilities, staff, programs, and volunteer base.
As Lexington County continues to grow, so do the challenges its residents face.
As the county’s central resource for crisis assistance, Mission Lexington provides essential support - including food, clothing, shelter, resources, and guidance.
In 2025 alone, we met over 69,000 needs.
In addition to our Social Services Department, Mission Store, and Donation Center, we operate the largest food pantry in Lexington County, as well as a Mobile Food Pantry that serves rural parts of our county.
Our food pantries feed over 25,000 people annually, including 10,000 children, providing $2.5 million in groceries each year.
Our impact is made possible through a network of local businesses, corporations, organizations, individuals, first responders, and more than 65 member churches that sustain our vision.
