VOLUNTEER

VOLUNTEER

When you volunteer, you become part of the Mission Lexington family as you create miracles of help and hope.

Our volunteers come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Last year, they donated more than 28,000 hours of service, giving hands-on care in our food pantry, social services area, donation center, thrift store, providing administrative support, and much more.

Mission Lexington volunteers report a deep sense of satisfaction in contributing to the well-being of individuals and families while working alongside others who have the same desires.

We provide training for all volunteer positions, so no prior experience is required. Whether working in the food pantry, thrift store, donation center, or helping to make an event successful, you can be a part of the impactful work we do.

Minimum age requirements for independent volunteering:  If you are under the age of 16, please scroll to bottom of this page to see about opportunities.

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

We believe in instilling the values of kindness, empathy, and philanthropy in children and students of all ages. When a child or young adult understands that THEY can make a difference for others in their community, no matter how old they are, we are creating a culture of compassion for others that will last a lifetime.

Ways for students to give back include completing service projects, hosting drives, or registering for a youth service day.

Learn more about these options by contacting April Holt (contact below).
